With the aim of celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Barcelona Process (1995-2020), the Catalan Government and the European Institute for the Mediterranean co-organised a one-day online event: "Localising SDGs in the Mediterranean, partnerships for a sustainable transition". Mr. Josep Canals, MedCities' Secretary General, presented the A'SIMA Tunis project objectives and activities during a panel on "Multi-level, effective and participative policies in the Mediterranean". Mr. Canals mentioned how the A'SIMA Tunis is an excellent example on the localisation of SDGs through multi-level governance and participative strategies, aiming to "leave no one behind".
