Biodiversity Protection Community enhances the understanding and management of of marine litter in Mediterranean protected areas.
About 250 experts from 30 countries met last 10th to 12th April in Seville to share the latest developments on marine litter monitoring and abatement.

In the frame of the AI-NURECC initiative, a 18 months project co-financed by the EU, the Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Cities (FAIC), operated by the Municiplaity of Ancona, organized the workshop "Cities and Cultural Heritage. Ideas and best practices for the Adriatic and Ionian Region", it took placed in Mostar (BiH) on 10th April 2019.
On 2nd April 2019, the final event of the ACCÉS TANGER-TÉTOUAN project was held in Tangier, with the aim of promoting the exchange of knowledge and good practices on accessibility policies in Mediterranean municipalities, exposing the opportunities and responsibilities of local authorities in promoting accessibility in urban public spaces and facilities.
MedCities participates in Rev'Acte project, under the leadership of the National Agency for Energy Management in Tunisia and coordinated by Ide-e, which aims at building the capacities of local authorities for the implementation of energy transition.
