Annual Conference, Tunis 2019
The 2019 MedCities Annual Conference took place 27-28 November. It was hosted in Tunis by the Municipality of Tunis. The MedCities international seminar, which took place alongside the MedCities General Assembly, addressed the topics of inter-city cooperation and metropolitan service provision.
The Conference included meetings of the MedCities Board of Directors, the annual General Assembly of the Association, and an international seminar entitled "To bring the municipalities of the Mediterranean closer to the citizens: decentralization and inter-municipal cooperation for the provision of services"

The 2019 MedCities General Assembly was held on 28 November. The General Assembly is made up of all the members of MedCities.

The 2019 international seminar brought together over 100 participants representing around 30 Mediterranean cities and metropolitan areas, international organisations, other public administrations and NGOs. + info
Board of Directors
Meeting of the MedCities Board of Directors
MedCities is managed and represented by a Board of Directors made up of 7 to 9 members: one President, five to seven members plus the Secretary General of the Association. Two vice-presidents and a Treasurer are designated. All the positions on the Board of Directors are unremunerated. These are appointed and revoked by Extraordinary General Assembly and their mandate lasts for four years. The Board of Directors meets as often as is determined by its President and at the request of three of its members.
