MedCities participates in the 3rd Mediterranean Water Forum
MedCities and IPEMED coordinated one working groups dedicated to Reuse and Treatment Technologies (REUT) linked to integrated urban Water Management
On July 11th, MedCities participated in Montecarlo in the launching conference of the 3rd Mediterranean Water Forum, foreseen for next December 2017 in Algiers, as a preparatory meeting for the 8th World Water Forum (Brasilia, March 2018). The meeting, organised by the Mediterranean Institute of Water (IME) ant the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), under the auspices of the Prince Albert II Foundation gathered policymakers, experts and stakeholders of the water sector, organised in six working group intended to launch the discussions to feed contents for the Mediterranean Water Forum.
MedCities and IPEMED coordinated one of the working groups dedicated to Reuse and Treatment Technologies (REUT) linked to integrated urban Water Management. The works of the working groups were launched in Montecarlo and will continue in the following months to deliver results and proposals to the regional gatherings to be held in Algiers and Brasilia.
The objective of MedCities and IPEMED is to enlarge the scope of this working group, giving voice to a wide range of stakeholders, local authorities among them, to produce valuable results that will contribute to the implementation of projects on the REUT domain in the region.
