This is an excellent example of integration by different parties and participants in the area near the river. It is based on a process of integration into and appropriation of the project through an ideas competition that is open to the population. The result was more than satisfactory.

EDITORIAL

Meeting Sfax

After the summer break it must be emphasized the seminar held in Sfax last July . More than 90 people attend the meeting that counted among the attendants with many mayors, councillors and dignitaries from different cities took part in order to express their wishes in terms of (re)construction and growth as autonomous cities that take pride in their achievements. Our thanks also go to the representatives of the Tunisian and Moroccan Ministries of the Interior, respectively, for attending the event, and to the international institutions supporting urban development that are working in the region for their participation. In this edition we want to highlight the analysis made by the Housing Department of the city of Larnaka on the demographics of the city. This is an essential aspect with a forward-looking perspective in any Strategic Plan. In addition, we would like to mention the work carried out by the city of Sousse, which, despite the latest setbacks, has made its website available to all the citizens to allow them to take part and have their say in the process of creating their city's future. Lastly, we wish to emphasise the analysis made by Saida which contains a detailed description of its legislative and administrative framework along with the many problems the country must overcome in giving the cities of the Lebanon greater independence and capacity. This study is certainly worth reading. We wish you a great reading.
